Nature Girl

Honey Santana is a woman with a Plan. She may be a single mother living in a trailor park with her teenage son; she may have just been sacked from her day job for kneeing an over-friendly co-worker in the balls; she may be an obsessive compulsive with an anger management problem. But she has a Dream: to set up her own eco-tour business, paddling tourists around the Everglades in ocean kayaks. She's also working on a complicated payback on a part-time telephonist who's recently bad-mouthed her, but that's a minor detail. Or is it? The result is a kayaking trip from hell involving an unplanned overnight stay on Cape Dismal, one of the Everglades' Ten Thousand Islands, for Honey, her kayaks, the rude telephonist (who Honey means to teach some manners), and his lover. What Honey does not know is that, lurking in the island's undergrowth is Sammy Tigertail, a half-blood Indian, with death on his mind, and Honey's deranged co-worker, Louis Piejack, now missing most of the fingers on his right hand, and intent on revenge.
